For the Closing Ceremony of the 56th annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday evening, numerous guests will be participating in giving out the awards. up till that point, the movie had failed to interest me on a human level.  when she showed up onscreen, i instantly felt connected to what was going on.  it wasn't the fancy f/x or expanded fight sequences or philosophic mumbo jumbo...  just pure raw onscreen charisma...  (not to mention that she's a bonafide sex symbol...while on the subject, that's some nice wallpaper)

Monica Bellucci and her husband, French actor Vincent Cassel, became parents over the weekend to a baby girl named Deva, Bellucci's agent said Monday.

"The mother and child are doing well," said Laurent Gregoire, the actress' Paris-based agent. The child was born Sunday in a Rome hospital.

The 34-year-old Italian actress, a former Elite model, has cultivated a thriving international film career in her native Italy and her adopted country France. She's also a familiar face in Hollywood.

We need to collect ourselves and focus on what this thread is really about:

Monica Bellucci is hot.  Like, super hot.  Oh man, I wish there were more pictures of her pregnant, because those pictures would be so hot.  I'm not saying that her figure wasn't full (in the most perfect of ways) already, but day-am, Monica Bellucci plus all the ripe roundness of the pregnant woman... I think I'm gonna faint just thinking about it.
