In The Realms of the Unreal has a 2004 release date but was shown in theatres here in 2005.  Does it count?

if the major US release was 2005, which i believe it was, yes.
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.
