That's funny... I love that album, and I've never met anyone else who's even heard of the guy.  I covet his sideburns, as well.

Yeah I love that album. Highly underrated. I saw him recently at the Tap Room in the Knitting Factory in NYC. Drove from philly up to see him play only 6 songs :(. At least it was only 8 bucks. Great soulful voice live as well.

i don't know what to roll my eyes at more: that you're both following some sort of trend, or that one of you is clearly not following closely enough to get the damn title right.

nevermind, they're on the floor now.
under the paving stones.

JG

The trend is that people are starting to realize how brilliant the album really is.

And for those keeping score at home, I got the title right.

(he sings "an" in the actual song, though)

ᾦɐļᵲʊʂ

Yeah, I got it wrong, I was thinking of the song.

It was amazing the first time I heard it, and it gets better everytime after that.  It's just really, really well assembled.

Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free, silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands, with all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves, let me forget about today until tomorrow.

I'm thinking that your old list is about fifty times better.

polkablues

Yeah, nothing against Panic at the Disco, but I have the feeling that in a couple of years you're going to see that on your list and go, "WTF?"

You switched to the right Spoon album, though.  We also would have accepted "Kill the Moonlight".

wait wait wait...Flickerstick...correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that the band that won that vh1 contest years ago? Knowing me there is alot of room for error, but I'm positive that it is the same band, possibly different band with same shitty name...and i realize that my musical taste has changed alot, but the shit I heard on that show was in fact shit...I'm not one to knock, but i just pictured that band being garbage, and by garbage i mean shit...is it the same band, is the question?
