Film or Video?

reading this 'tech talk' esp about film vs video, i came to the conclusion
that we are emphasizing(or comparing) the 'look' of film and video
(can i change it to digital?)

let's talk about digital in the viewpoint of 'democracy'... wow

needless to say, i prefer film to digital(or video)  

if someone wants to make a movie by himsef(or herself) with film
maybe he can give up making movie too 'quickly' not only high price
but the complicated ways of shooting

but with digital camcorder like canon,vx2000 or pd100(150)
they can make their first movie somewhat  more easily than film

and it would make people in general be awakened.. not media blind
