Title: Jacques Audiard
Post by: samsong on December 22, 2009, 03:12:41 AM
anyone else a fan?  i saw the beat my heart skipped and a prophet today, clearly the work of a very talented and confident filmmaker.  especially impressed with his control of pacing and ability with actors.

the beat my heart skipped is very good but a prophet is a near masterpiece.  highly recommended.  it's slated for a mid february run in the u.s.

The Sisters Brothers has Joaquin Phoenix so you guys will care about it. him, Jake Gyllenhaal, Rutger Hauer, John C, etc. music by
Alexandre Desplat. dp BenoĆ®t Debie.  Annapurna Pictures has it.
