Well, I just saw the two other topics below this one and thought it was a really good idea. So, I play the drums in a band, so here's two mp3's: www.purevolume.com/thefairgrounds We're going to change the mp3's that are up there when we get our ep out in september.
I think your lead vocalist needs louder music behind him. Or maybe the mix is just imbalanced. (And it could just be the microphone. There are a few PUHH sounds too.)
Anyway, I like the feel of Dear Maria (the beginning especially). Ever try doing instrumentals?
Yeah, these were first mixes. In the new mixes the vocals are turned down a considerable amount. But we do some instrumentals. I'm not sure how many we have, but we kind of alternate between the two. It's probably about 1/3 without vocals, 2/3 with.
