2.Niaomi Watts(Mulholland Drive) [never thought this woman was so good after being in child of the corn 4]

I actually credit Ebes for getting me to really adore Zooey Deschanel. I never really noticed her before, but now that I look, she may be the most beautiful actress out there and I currently am suffering from pro longed not able to see All The Real Girls syndrome that Ebes made so famous. I haven't admitted it, but tis true, my black evil heart hurts.

Thanks man...that makes me feel good. To contribute to the board and all, I'm glad it looks like I have. Really, that was cool of you to say or...admit more like. I really try, seriously...I do try.

Get ready for some more syndromes on this board over time by the way man...All the Real Girls is the first of many on this board, trust me...I'm like that. I go crazy for movies I wanna see...I go fucking crazy. If people want to join in and do the same then...who knows, maybe we can help eachother through it. There are some horribly long waits to see good movies, especially cause so many of them are limited releases.

I know, right. It would be crazy trying to direct Zooey or Audrey or any of the many other beautiful actresses that exist...I'd be so fucking nervous. I'd inevitably make a fool of myself...it would happen right away. We're talking first impression...I would be doomed from the start. I could visualize the whole demise in my head, I would try to say something nice and end up being too nice and fuck everything up.

Let me take the Argento opinion a step further and say which type of movie she should be casted in: a noirish drama starring Morgan Freeman as an aging ex-boxer out to exact revenge on the mobster (Chris Walken) who murdered his family for not throwing a fight....he befriends the mobster's daughter (Argento) and they join forces to take Walken out.....

You know, that sounds kinda bad actually...it sounded good a two this morning when I was hopped up on Addies.......shit.  :lol:

That's interesting you say that.....maybe I was ignoring this disturbing trend...
But I still feel that this would be a helluva role for him...might even put him back up to Amistad levels (as far as roles are concerned) because the role demands another level of humanity much deeper than any picture with Ashley Judd.  :wink:

the rape is really not sexy. and the way the movie sets you up, its hard to distance yourself from it as being "just a movie". it feels sort of real and is absolutely terrible.  there is however, towards the end of the movie, her laying nakedly with her boyfriend in bed, which is very sexy.

Natalie as Marty in Beautiful Girls is my favorite performance of hers. She absolutely stole this film. Her being so young and Tim Hutton so old, they played off each other so well.  You almost wanted them to be together, despite the age difference. Excellent performance by her.

i think ur mistaken about Brittany Murphy, ebes. she's more concerned with fucking her co-stars than showcasing any talent. she's dirty as hell.. at least chloe knows how to eat a mean dick and still hav sum class.

no, what i am saying is that for alot of them, those two in particular, they seem to have done alot more than simply GET OLD.  they were so stunning in their early days, and its just kind of shocking how NONE of it has seemed to last, they look like a completely fucking different person.....

Yea, I definitely think they did a little bit more than just age. I would think a Godard set could get pretty crazy, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a lot of not-so-innocent stuff going on. I mean, it was the 60's after all, the whole pinnacle of the french new wave and coincidentally, the usage of a lot of drugs people were ignorant to the effects of so you can't really blame some of these old hollywood stars who had no clue that the stuff they were doing would hurt them so badly.

So, jasper, m'boy, I finally saw this movie. GREAT GREAT GREAT is all I can say! Awesome recommend, thank you. Everyone is tops in it, but of course, NP shines through.

SPOILERS

The end wrapped up a little too nice, but other than that I loved it. I'm an idealistic idiot, too- my whole point was that "judging character" is way outside the grasp of the entire thrust of this dumb thread. My sardonicism goes misunderstood... :) Bernhard was held up as emblematic of ugliness, and proceeding from what I read in a lot of the posts here, Bernhard "wins" on whatever petty, exclusively hormonal grounds they're based on... whatever. People who get laid can more easily acknowledge that hotness is in the eyes of the beholder; TV and internet hotness parades/picky little judgment lists are, in my oh-so-humble opinion, by and for people who can't get real-life dates, or at least not enough of them.

Just for anyone that cares, I picked up the Vanity Fair mag. today with all the actresses and what-not. There's not really a whole lot about them (actresses), so it was a bit disappointing, but there are some cool stills (at thumbnail size though) of actresses meeting other actresses and stuff. Basically the article just heaps praise on all of them.

I've always thought Holly Hunter is absolutely gorgeous and she seems to get prettier as she gets older. Also I think Anne Hathway (from that tv show get real) is very pretty. No arguments from me. Although, after her Oscar win, she has become better than the films she's been in. Perfect for Lara Croft, but she needs the scripts to back up her strengths. Um, could you explain that a little better?  Are you saying all of those qualities make her masculine?!?  I don't really think most chicks care if a woman looks masculine enough to have carnal relations with lol

Besides, they're already saying they want to make sweet, sweet love to a woman so whether the woman is masculine enough is a moot point IMHO.
