Never heard of curren$y, so I just checked it out on youtube.

I watched "Breakfast."

I'm sold.

Pilot Talk is fire. Check out Freddie Gibbs, as well.

yess. and master p back in the day and from what i can gather always seemed to end up the bridesmaid wherever he planted himself, so he'd blow out and start somewhere else only to have it happen again. i dunno. just got this on a whim yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.

I need to pick up "This Ain't No Mixtape," I just checked out that single "Elevator Musik."  Holy shit.

Lil Wayne still sucks, but this guy definitely had potential among that quagmire of Cash Limit / No Money debacle.

EDIT: Ok, so I just got some more of his stuff, specifically: This Ain't No Mixtape and Pilot Talk.  These albums are really impressive.  His earlier work still fails to do much for me.  Maybe it hasn't grown on me yet, but what I can tell, at least in this phase, is that he's definitely grown as an emcee.
