Yeah, I also thought Hammer was great in this, as well as everyone else, including Timberlake. I think The Social Network is the closest thing to a flawless movie we had in 2010. Even that ending is spot on for what Sorkin decided to do - the movie (not Zuckerberg's life) is all about a dude who can't really communicate with people very well and wants that girl back. The ending was the good kind of painful. I loved it.

Now you dorks are defending Timberlake too?! Come on! Inexcusable!
Let's go to a motel. We don't have to do anything -- we could just swim.

No way. Has nothing to do with that. I love Timberlake. I think he's hilarious and doesn't take himself too seriously. He's my boy.

I told the admins this but now I will repeat it here. I met him at the NYFF Social Network Premiere Afterparty. He was a really, really nice dude. I said I was a "David Fincher nerd" and he said "me too". (Also: I thought he was pretty good in this.  Biased?)
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

On Bill Simmons podcast after the Oscars they brought up how the Academy should just throw a ton of money at Timberlake and have him host the Oscars. Best idea ever?

Timberlake would be great; he's about the best all-around entertainer out there. The only other good idea I've heard lately is Paul Rudd. My personal goal is for David Mitchell and Robert Webb to suddenly become huge movie stars and have them host the thing.
Now you're in the *spoiler* place.
