if i goto a college and ask some actors to be in a short do you think they would do it for free if they like the script or will they ask for money? I think they would be happy to be doing some thing.

i'm sure there are many actors who would like to do it for free, cause the raison d'être of an actor is acting!
i never went to a Drama School but i did act in the "Drama Workshop" of my University and all of us acted for free...(well not always but most of the time) so i'm sure you will find crazy actors who will say "yes!" if you ask them

I took Acting at the Vancouver Film School and we were acting in the film students projects all the time. Just try to schedule it so it doesn't conflict with their class time. Most actors I know are willing to make sacrifices to play a good role.
