Best Supporting Female Performance: Amy Adams in "The Master"
2nd Place — Juno Temple in "Killer Joe"
THE NOMINEES
Amy Adams - "The Master"
Anne Hathaway - "The Dark Knight Rises"
Anne Hathaway - "Les Miserables"
Juno Temple – "Killer Joe"
Surprising that, in a fairly strong year for female leads, it was such a weak year for supporting female roles. Compare this list to the Supporting Male Performance nominees, it's a night and day difference.
Good for Juno Temple, though. I have a feeling she's going to be featured prominently in these awards for a long time to come.
She was great in a great movie. Interestingly enough, though, both Hathaway and Amy Adams are among my main actress crushes.
