Garam

The French animator behind the 'Old lady and the pigeons' short film and 'Belleville Rendez-Vous' (Or 'the Triplets of Belleville', depending on which part of the Earth you live on.)

Like? Dislike?

Personally, I think he has the best animation style around. Belleville was released roughly around the same time as Spirited Away in the UK, and I thought it made that look slightly primitive in comparison.

He's one of the few directors that hasn't dropped out of 'Paris, Je T'aime', and I watched an animation show a few weeks ago - He's doing a film about some sort of Illusionist, it seems. Apparantly a remake of an old classic animation.

I really loved belleville rendez-vous, it was as if mr. hulot found a son finally.  I haven't seen the old lady and the pigeons, guess I'll be looking for it.
