I would really like to participate in this.  Can someone tell me what i need to do?  I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to using these sites.  Are you paying for an account or are you doing some sort of trial?

Help!

Organize your files.  Most importantly (picolas, I'm looking at you) simply put the track number at the beginning so it plays properly.  Just edit them accordingly and put them all in a folder.  Then make that folder a zip folder.  Then go to a site like www.rapidshare.com or www.megaupload.com (there are a myriad of others as well, but these work pretty user friendly), upload it and post your link.

And if you're feeling creative, make a graphic like some of the other fine mixtapes have.

Then download other peoples' and enjoy.

And maybe in another month or so, we can all pick a new theme and play again!

As it is, I'm prepping everyone's on my ipod and am about to go bananas.

mine'll probably got all messed up on your ipod because all i did was change the file names to put them in order. itunes will probably put them in the order the song's info says it appears on its regular album.

Stefen

I'm a big fan of Morning View and a Crow Left of the Murder.

Everything else not so much. Ew.
Falling in love is the greatest joy in life. Followed closely by sneaking into a gated community late at night and firing a gun into the air.

To me Crow Left of The Murder is their peak and Morning View was the seedlings of them physically getting out of the rap/rock genre everyone threw them in or whatever it was called. I'm with you on that stefen

Proposed new assignment:

Mix tape for after the girl from the first mix tape dumps you.
My house, my rules, my coffee

jtm

proposed idea:

can we get away from the "chick" theme?

let's do something more rock n' roll-ish.

That's not a proposal, that's a direction.  Specificity!
