where do all of your friends/family buy the Criterion discs? my parents aren't too internet savvy, so i didn't get any of those.

Radiohead - Meeting People is Easy
Radiohead - 7 TV Commercials
Dawson Creek SEason ONe (same thing someone else said about this)
Best of Chris Farley
Ed Sullivan and the Beatles' performances
my mom didn't buy REM - In View because of the parental advisery sticker (i'm wondering why it has one in the first place?)

i'll probably pick up All the Real Girls and Band of Outsiders with some cash.

i rented a VHS of Straw Dogs and i didn't care too much for it. it's kinda like a Leone(film) set in modern times and i'd much rather have that or some  of the Eastwood films

My Life to Live is great to those who got it.

why and when are the Hitchcock Criterions going out of print?
I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away.

I love this fucking dvd set, it's great.

Lipton Ice Tee, The Dough Boy, the shaving cream, all of those old commercials are great on the dvd.

I think he's referring to bigideas' query on where people get their Criterions at? I could be completely off though.
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.
