hahaha yeah i don't know why we didn't say anything.

Well, for god's sake be gentle with it, everyone. The last thing we want is them yanking it out from under us again.

please search wisely, don't just type in a few non-specific words in the search bar at the top right of the screen, rather i suggest you click SEARCH which is a link on the top left next to HOME and HELP and try to narrow down your search by selecting only the forums you think might have the relevant information. to do this open the box marked " + choose board to search in" and uncheck the "check all" box.

FOR EXAMPLE if you wanna see if there's a thread for a certain movie, don't bother searching in all the technical forums, Now Playing, Idle Chatter or the Art gallery, etc. click the box for Now Showing and Other Movies. you'll get a quicker and more accurate result and you won't make the site's hosts notice that we're hogging all the bandwidth with endless fruitless searches for "a the with in and of to".. unless that's the name of the movie of course. (worst name for a movie ever).

Also, use quotes like they're going out of style. If you're searching for Almost Famous, it saves a lot of load on the system to search for just the phrase "almost famous" than to search for every instance of the word "almost" and every instance of the word "famous".

Can someone find me the thread where Kotte reveals he let some guy piss in his face behind a tree when he was a little boy?

Stefen

Haha. That's it. I wish Kotte would come back. Nobody gave me the creeps the way he did. He was the best.

Pas

Hahaha that story was the best because it was told so casually.

I long for a ''worst of xixax'' thread.

another amazing kotte post was when he revealed he dreams about having sex with his mother!

it happened..

OH AND THE BEST, REMEMBER WHEN HE DEFENDED HITLER COS HE SAID HE WAS JUST A FATHER LOOKING OUT FOR HIS BABY???

YES YOU DO: it was one of the most underrated threads ever. and much funnier at the time (seriously hilarious) when pas changed his av to hitler holding a baby..

seriously pas make that thread, if there isn't already a blast from the past xixax greatest hits thread (i know there used to be but it disappeared).

here he defends child killers

I´m only using the kids as examples. I could have used fucking birds or whatever. It doesn't matter...

His approach to argumentation is amazing.
"Should I bring my own chains?"
"We always do..."

another tip everyone:

you might in your travels come across a post from years ago that links to another even older post, you'll find that clicking it goes nowhere, follow this example to make the link work..

AIM:
to turn THIS  http://www.xixax.com/viewtopic.php?t=6176&start=45 (goes nowhere)
INTO THIS http://xixax.com/index.php?topic=6176.45 (goes somewhere awesome)

old style: http://www.xixax.com/viewtopic.php?t=6176&start=45
new style: http://xixax.com/index.php?topic=6176.45

instructions:
*remove www
*replace viewtopic.php? with index.php?
*replace t=6176 with topic=6176
*replace &start=45 with .45

any examples that come up and are different to this please post them here and we'll work em out. personally i'm afraid the site will crash from all the searching (did it just die for anyone else a few minutes ago?). so enjoy it while it lasts and please SEARCH WISELY.

Wherein I posted a fix to this problem four years ago (to the date!).  Still willing to help get it working, save people some trouble and whatnot.

Yesterday the search wasn't quite working for me.  Gateway timeouts, 500 errors, etc.  Now it seems to work okay, just a bit slow.

Fernando

search function is down again, I guess you admins already know that..

is anyone else having trouble with it?
