Alright guys, in this thread I'd like to discuss particular instances where admins have abused the power given to them.

This thread isn't attacking any admins but I think I'd be great to have this thread as a "watchdog". Let's keep this thread civil, because its a touchy subject. For no reason, should this thread be deleted because we as XIXAX users are merely pointing out abuses of power and I think this thread could help out other Admins.

Anyways I'll start this off, by giving a recent example of an admin abusing power.

During the Michael Moore thread, cBRAD changed my signature to...
"I ENJOY DRINKING PISS" "A cBRAD production"

Now after I saw this, I immediately noted this, but it seemed like the other admins turned there heads to this type of behaviour.

My question for the other admins is,

What do you think of the behaviour that cBRAD showed in this particular instance? And was it right?

I don't think this is very professional and I think its hard for admins to issue power and create resolves when you don't "practice what you preach".

Also, feel free for other members to point out other instances if they exist.

For absolutely no reason should this thread be closed, because its just pointing out facts, nothing is made up here.

Let's be mature about this.

Your signature was an insult to an admin to begin with.  You didn't talk about that part, and it has nothing to do with what thread it was brought up in.  The admins are too nice sometimes, I think.

You can read the reaction, and the drama that P created after these two simple sentences in the Michael Moore thread.

I really didn't think P would become enraged with anger over that signature, because quite frankly, It's not bad. I'm sorry P, if you I upset you with those terrible remarks. I am truly sorry.

And no, this thread nor does the instance of where cBRAD changed my signature to.. "I enjoy drinking piss" have anything to do with my original signature. This thread is about admins abusing their power.

At times, some of my fellow admins (and myself) can get a little hotheaded and make snap judgments. We're human.

I think what cbrad did was wrong. But just because you don't see it, doesn't mean actions aren't taken. It was dealt with two weeks ago.

I do know that there are about 4 ppl (and I don't know if they are admins) who like to gang up on others if they disagree with one of the group. What's the deal with that? This site, at times, makes one feel as if they were an injured albacore swimming in a small pool of sharks. I would guess there are a lot of lurkers just for that reason......b/c they are afraid to ask a question or give some input. The hard core attitudes prevent other ppl from jumping in. It would be nice to see some more noobs (go ahead and make your jokes now)........as I am still a so called noob IMO.

I don't want to downplay the importance of the original post from Thecowgooesmooo. I think he has a valid point, and we all need to "self police" this community to keep those admins with power from abusing people here on this board.

For example. One day, not too long ago (before all the JJ stuff went down, but after Pantalones was banned), I had an extremely painful anal fissure. But Bonanzataz, who is an administrator on this system had little regard for my physical ailment and proceeded to pound me in the ass with his tiny little weiner anyway. This caused several more days of bleeding and discomfort.

And then to make matters worse, another admin here at Xixax, CBrad, sodomized my sensitive bunghole while I was asleep. He is hung much better than Taz, so adding insult to injury my anal fissure was ripped even wider. Since his huge meatpipe stretched my sphincter beyond its tolerances, I soon found myself with a completely prolapsed bowel.

Now, because of this, I sit in front of my computer atop a pile of my own feces and in a puddle of mucous and blood.

All because the admins here abused me!

Can someone hand me a tissue?

From there, P immediately went crazy, and told me that he wants answers to why I "hate" him? Do I hate him? That signature was not hateful in any way.

He then changed my signature to something like. (And no exageration here)

From there, that initial abuse of admin power, it just started a snowball of constant signature retalitions exchanging from me to P. Then it ended with cBrad changing my signature, to explaining that I enjoy drinking piss, followed by a sentence that said "a cBRAD production". I then changed the signature to "I am abusing my admin status. a cBRAD production".

That's it, the whole deal. Not trying to hide a thing.

Anyways, I think the double standard around here is getting old. It's a double standard because when Admins talk shit to other members, its accepted. But once, other members turn it around on a particular admin, suddenly, they all become extremely sensitive. This is just not right. Leave it one way or the other, but you cant play both sides of the ball game here.

I believe AclockworkJJ, was banned for pissing off admins, but its such a double standard, many of them (im not saying all of them) do the same exact thing. How can you justify that?

If some of the admins want to talk shit to other users, and gang up on them, thats perfectly fine with me. But it becomes a problem when you get angry and ban someone over another user doing the exact same thing to you.

And a great example of this was my original quote before sensitive admins told me I had to change it or be banned.

If you can't take the heat, then don't throw gasoline on the fire and light the shit up.

I know, "So Fuckin Suave" Ben is just too cool.......no bragging here. I have been treated fairly well and have even made some major PTA movie misquotes. To be honest, this site opened up a new world of cinema for me and mostly all of the recs have been great. My love for Lynch led me here and it has opened many other doors for me to further explore. There is a wealth of knowledge here amongst everyone, so I can see how things can get a bit touchy at times.

I like this site because I can express my feelings freely without consequence. Even if I were to be the most extreme of something, I'd hope that the admins wouldn't consider this as some sort of basis to kick me off.
I think that the admins should be monitored to a degree, so as everybody should be. Cow, the thread, no matter how nicely worded was a blow to the groin.
In the future I hope if anyone has a complaint with an admin it can be dealt with swiftly by other admins and made public, so that this community remains, overall, a positive place. I think that the admins are doing an excellent job now, but are ultimately human so it's inevitable that mistakes will be made.

I hope I wasn't overstepping my boundries with anything I just said, so hopefully no offense was taken.

If anyone took offense to that, they need to go outside and breathe.
