I watched the entire series (starting w/ the original pilot and ending w/ FWWM) this winter.  
It was so easy on the eyes w/ the first season DVD set, but when I started watching the videos, I nearly lost my interest, nevermind the fact that the last, say, seven episodes (excepting the last two) are terrible.

nahhhhh....i don't have an exact count but the second season is huge ..really took off after the first season.....can't wait for this r1 release

so i was doing some thinking... the 720 minute running time on the two season disc thing would be just about right for 14 one hour episodes and the pilot. did they maybe break them down to a half hour episodes over there???

Twin Peaks Season 2 DVD release date - in Europe

Paramount Sweden has confirmed that the season 2 DVD box set of Twin Peaks will be released in September 2004 in Europe. No reason is given for the lengthy delay, but hopefully it means they're taking time to come up with some extras. No word on Region 1.
