A friend and I shot a short film using a Canon XL-1S a couple months back. The gear was lent to us by our former school and unbeknownst to us, we found out after the fact the camera had some potential "issues." The film was shot and we're now in the editing process and have assembled a rough cut. Here's the problem: we've realized that the stuff we shot near the end of the shoot, essentially the final 5-7  mins of the film has some constant digital pixelling, flickering, etc, which was more than likely an in camera cause. Can these images somehow be restored with particular software or post-prod. houses? If so, will this end up costing a king's ransom or is there some kind of reasonably priced alternative? Muchos gracias!
