A documentary that follows the journeys of indie game developers as they create games and release those works, and themselves, to the world.

Saw this recently and liked it a lot. Many of the challenges facing these indie game developers are analogous to the trials facing young filmmakers as well. It's entertaining, moving - see the fucking thing.

It's a really good flick.  My brother is a programmer, and wants to work in the industry, making games.  He dug this up somewhere a while back and shared it with me.  It's very inspirational, and I'll echo what wilderesque said: the same trends, trials, and tribulations can be applied for filmmakers, too.  The journey for Super Meat Boy is most compelling.  The guy who created Fez is a lovable mess.

Never thought I'd see a thread about it here.  And yep, it's streaming on Netflix now, too.

I enjoy it and the Braid guy who didn't get as much screen time in the doc has a few talks up on youtube and they're all really good.
