From the makers of "Once" comes a movie absolutely nothing like "Once"

A absurdist comedy taking the stylings of a 50's B-movie, Zonad tells the story of a rehab escapee who convinces the naive inhabitants of a small Irish village that he is actually an extraterrestrial. It's quaint, it's stupid, and it's actually really funny. I just got back from an IMAX screening (of all things?!?!) of this at AFF and it honestly had me laughing out loud several times. Despite some uneven moments, on the whole this gets two thumbs up from me.

He held on. The dolphin and all the rest of its pod turned and swam out to sea, and still he held on. This is it, he thought. Then he remembered that they were air-breathers too. It was going to be all right.
