Entertainment One Acquires Oliver Hirschbiegel's Diana

Entertainment One has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to German director Oliver Hirschbiegel's latest project, Diana. The film, which stars Naomi Watts and Cas Anvar, chronicles Princess Diana's two-year relationship with heart and lung surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan.

"Diana will give audiences worldwide a chance to not only fall in love with the Princess all over again, but also discover a part of her life up until now kept out of the public eye," said Dylan Wiley, Entertainment One's U.S. VP of theatrical marketing and distribution.

Diana will open in theaters across the U.S. later this year.
