private witt is the worst thing that's ever happened to this place. he's ruined it almost entirely. i cannot post here anymore because at my age, i am ashamed to be a part of something that involves such a fool like him. i used to come here every day. now it's hard to even observe because of his blemishes. this has to be his world, message boards, myspace, whatever. no one could accept such a fool in the real world. if only he came along in '07ish - Pubrick would've removed such a fool by now. congrats, private..you win the all-time ruiner of all things award, waste of life.

I was going to write something horrible about him last night but I was too tired. It would have been just fine if Witt was just plain stupid but he's really not funny at all. I look at this place as a sort of safe haven to talk about film in a very intelligent way. I don't have many places of happiness in the world where I feel comfortable and yet accepted. I disagree. I mean, we have people with very different personalities but at the end of the day we all share some mutual respect. I get into arguments with pete and Stefen (4th time) constantly in one thread and then we just move on. We are not obsessed with just bothering other users for the pleasure of it.
This idiot has been just pushing everyone around for his own entertainment. He rarely said something smart or interesting or that generated some genuine on-topic discussion. It was always some off-topic retarded comment or critique. And he did cross the line with several things yesterday. Not only he said some stuff that was out of line, but he posted in pretty much every thread. Who the fuck wants to read his bullshit in every discussion?
Anyways, I'm glad he is gone.

If you think it facilitates discussion better, you're probably right. To be honest, he just seemed really innocuous and occasionally provided a biting sense of dialogue to the board. I didn't see him as agitating as a lot of you did, but then again, I never had to verbally spar with him. Or her.

I missed this thread, but I am SO glad he's gone. Ironically, the conversations about this board and what it means to us led up to him showing up (or coincided with it) and he challenged that in a way.
I'd love to be ideal about the democracy of the boards, but this isn't Gitmo, so fuck it. His ban is wonderful.

Guy shows up, is annoying but harmless. We soon find that he gets defensive and paranoid whenever someone disagrees with him. This tendency escalates until he finally snaps with an epic flame-out in the guise of a misguided April Fool's Day joke, which proved his toxicity to the board and cemented the need for his removal from it. There was much rejoicing.
