Obligatory Robert Elswit Thread

It's a must, isn't it?

In looking at Robert's IMDB resume, I am surprised that I have never seen any of his non-PTA related work.

It would be interesting to watch some of his other films to see how much of the beauty of Paul's films are Paul, and how much are Robert.

I think Magnolia is visually PTA's best film, Boogie Nights and PDL a close second.

The fact that he doesn't do interviews might have something to do with his thin resume.

I think a whole hell of a lot of it is Paul.  I've seen a few of Elswit's non-PTA films, and they never struck me as anything special visually.
