Post by: Axolotl on December 18, 2014, 09:48:48 AM
A jaded Japanese woman discovers a hidden copy of Fargo (1996) on VHS, believing it to be a treasure map indicating the location of a large case of money.

One of the best trailers of the year in my humble opinion. Cannot wait to see this.

That looks incredible. This actually happened, didn't it? I wonder if they just took the premise and worked around it, or if they're actually basing it on the poor woman that died. I've never been able to rewatch the film without thinking about that throughout.

to overshare for a moment, when i saw ghostboy walking into the ace for kumiko, during the sundance next event with herzog, i said to my friend "i chat with him over the internet and i can't figure out how to chat with him now." a side story to the overshare is when the gooses trailer was first completed i sent its link to four people here whom i at the time, idk, i liked their movieness and thought they were conversational types, this was December 06, 2013, reelist, n, lottery, and ghostboy, anyway the three others replied lickity split, these were people i'd often see on xixax at the time, but i didn't hear from ghostboy though i saw him on xixax left and right, so i sent another pm to him and i forget what it said and i don't really want to read it again, seems regrettable, but he sent back a friendly pm that explained sometimes he ain't got time for that shit, and he watched the trailer and liked the vhs and when lucinella looked into the camera

i think that's a story about how i attempt to navigate my way through life, hoping things will end where i think they could, though they seldom do. thus i'm considering this post thematically linked to kumiko

Next time just yell out, "I'd pay a dollar for a ride on that mustache!"

Anyway, Kumiko looks good. I'm interested in watching it.
