McGregor's Four Roles
Star Wars star playing four roles in one film.

Ewan McGregor, now on screen with his final performance as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, is lining up some new projects. According to Variety, McGregor is set to play four roles in a single film.

The currently untitled comedy from director Peter Capaldi (Strictly Sinatra) will feature Ewan as the star of a movie within a movie. He'll reportedly play a 1930s Hollywood star as well as the star's stand-in and the two characters they portray in an 18th Century period film within the film. Got all that?

Scheduled to start shooting in early 2006, the story follows the making of a film about the Jacobite rebellion and what goes down when the star disappears and the filmmakers turn to his stand-in.

McGregor, next seen on the big screen in Michael Bay's The Island, is also set to make his West End musical debut. The Moulin Rouge actor will star in Guys and Dolls as Sky Masterson, the gangster playboy role played by Marlon Brando in the 1955 movie version.

That seems like something he could pull off very well. This guy is the best. I think now that Star Wars is over he'll get some serious Oscar-nominated roles.
