So, this was perfect timing for my upcoming b-day, thought I, but I've just noticed that the site seems to be down now.

I probably missed my one golden opportunity.  :cry:
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.

yeah i noticed that too.  for a while it was like the wild west.  luckily i got in my Army Of Shadows order just in time.  i wonder if they will cancel all these crazy orders like amazon did for that silent film box a while back or if they're actually going to send all this crap out?

sites back up.  prices back to normal.  looks like the decimal was misplaced.  now what are the odds they send these out instead of canceling the orders?

i also got both confirmation emails.  but they just cancelled Army Of Shadows (order #2).
