BRONAGH GALLAGHER as TRUDY in PULP FICTION

Hey,
Does anyone know why or how Bronagh Gallagher got the part as Trudy the girl on Lance and Jody's couch in Pulp Fiction?  I think she's great in this (very little to do) and in The Committments (an Oirish film).  I've just never heard QT talk about her...
