Hi everyone, I've enjoyed lurking on this forum for the past 2-3 weeks reading old threads.
I stumbled on to this site by mistyping the url of a porn site but seeing whole sub-forums dedicated to some of my favourite directors quelled my need for a release and I've been here ever since. Look forward to talking with you guys about films and maybe supplementing my meagre knowledge of them and being jealous of you for getting to see films on the big screen that will never be released in my country.

My name isn't really Axolotl, that's just a Cortazar story I read recently and an interesting creature( http://southerncrossreview.org/73/axolotl.html ).

I live in India, and I'm sadly not very aware of my country's cinematic landscape beyond a few classics because the mainstream is so massively full of shit that no one is willing to publish a film on DVD that isn't a generic song and dance film but some good ones do manage to slip through.

But recently I moved to Delhi for a job so hopefully I can find some kind of government-sponsored film club kind of deal somewhere.
