This movie's main poster and trailer contain (what I would consider) major spoilers, so I'm going to compensate by posting non-spoilery pictures here. It's best to go in without knowing the lovely payoffs that happen later in the film.

Summary from imdb: Thirteen-year-old Lili fights to protect her dog Hagen. She is devastated when her father eventually sets Hagen free on the streets. Still innocently believing love can conquer any difficulty, Lili sets out to find her dog and save him.

I absolutely love White God. It's not as straightforward as it seems; it ends up working as a fable and an allegory in a very satisfying way.
