THE NOMINEES
Adaptation (Charlie Kaufman & Donald Kaufman)
The Good Girl (Mike White)
Minority Report (Scott Frank & Jon Cohen)
Punch-Drunk Love (Paul Thomas Anderson)
Talk to Her (Pedro Almodóvar)
Yes, god, yes.
Charlie looks kinda like Kevin McDonald with sunglasses on.

That's Donald. Charlie's too shy to have his picture taken.
Perhaps, but I still think he looks like Kevin McDonald.

I think he's reminiscent of Lou Reed...
strap a goatee on him and that's Joel Coen
Matt Besser

Just don't strap a goatse on him.
Wow, he looks nothing like he was depicted in the movie, lol. That makes it even more innovative...he created a completely different version of himself.

f!@#$ing AOL!
The only award besides best pic and best supporting actor that I fully agree with.
Paul Thomas Anderson deserved this one. The Kaufman's had no reason even being nominated. Contrivance is star studded these days.

I think you need to put the [/sarcasm] tag at the end of your post.

adaptation deserves this one. its really an interesting story. charlie kaufmann is really a mad genius. i also loved the screenplay of "talk to her" and "y tu mama tambien."
Kaufman totally deserved this one. How much more creative, halerious and original can you get with being so true to life. Only if the Oscars would have agreed.
