yours is not in the running, it's really between me and mod. he's got casino matched and his Frighteners is a good opponent to my Appleseed. but he loses for family guy. hedwig is the dark horse, for the man who fell to earf.

anarchist lawyer wins in my book.

but you must admit, 10-15 episodes of Curb that i haven't seen yet is pretty exciting.  it will be a good week.

Redlum

I got....

The Boy Who Could Fly (I very nearly put this on my dekapenticon list)

and *Batteries Not Included. Which was extremely enjoyable to revisit. I think its held up extremely well, especially for an 80's film. It just zips along, the effects are subtley intergrated and the score is really sweet, too.
\"I wanted to make a film for kids, something that would present them with a kind of elementary morality. Because nowadays nobody bothers to tell those kids, \'Hey, this is right and this is wrong\'.\"

i just used the last bit of my gift cards to buy Falling Down (1993) w/ Michael Douglas for 6.99...not a bad price for a movie i haven't seen in a loooong while...pretty entertaining

From my girlfriend (who didn't need to but proved her love by getting me this):

From my friend Mike:

  Goddamn 1-disc version though.

From my friend Chris and his girlfriend (it's a running joke between the three of us):

From cash and gift cards:

And not yet but soon...

Overall, a pretty good year.
