PTA to direct the next Bond film!!!

Apparently its official...

Columbia Pictures confirmed that Bond 22 will be directed by Academy Award nominated writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson. The yet-to-be-named Bond film will start production in the fall, after Anderson wraps production on his current film "There Will Be Blood", starring Daniel Day-Lewis.

The film is scheduled to open November 7, 2008.

I don't want to be a party-pooper, but you can do better than that.  Bond films don't open in November!  That's crazy!
