Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

Jeremy Blackman

That's a ridiculous thing to say. If Adam Sandler calls him "PTA"...

Oh, and... I loved, loved, loved Hedwig.

prophet

yeah thats what i was thinking "PTA, loves his gummy bears"

According to Rolling Stone, Hedwig is "the best Rock movie ever!"  which made me somewhat of a simmering furious when i left the theatre.  it was much more about this gay crossdressers love affair with that kid than it was about ROCK.  i was very pissed off that day.

I definitely wouldn't call it the best rock movie ever. But it was damn great, and better the more you watch it.

1) Velvet Goldmine- best rock movie ever.
2) Then Hedwig- how dare you say it sucked.
