Jonathan Kaplan's Truck Turner (1974) on blu-ray from Kino

Truck Turner (Hayes) is a football star-turned-bounty hunter who's tracking a sadistic pimp on the mean streets of Los Angeles. Armed with his brute strength and ace cool partner (Alan Weeks), Truck closes in on his mark. But a tragic accident soon changes all the rules, and suddenly the hunter finds himself being hunted by the city's deadliest hired killers! Truck strikes back in a series of wild car chases, shootouts and bone-crunching fistfights, knowing that the battles can lead to only one place: an intense struggle to the death against Harvard Blue (Kotto), the brutal leader of L.A.'s organized crime syndicate.

Split Second (1992) - Amazon UK

Set in the year 2008, in a largely flooded London, the waterlogged and rat-infested capital is being terrorised by a monstrous serial killer, who has resurfaced after years of inactivity. Maverick policeman Harold Stone (Hauer) is on his trail, but the killer seems bent on destroying Stone, his girlfriend Michelle (Cattrall) and his new partner Dick Durkin (Neil Duncan).

Haven't seen this but it looks like Blade Runner and that's good enough for me

oh man marco ferreri is awesome!

he's basically godard meets jodorowsky through a fassbinderish filter.

dillinger is dead is what hes most known for, and its amazing, so i'd watch that first. its very comprehensive of his style and maybe his most accessible.

then watch 'don't touch the white woman' with mastroianni, if you LIKE it, then go to 'bye bye monkey' which is my personal favorite, with ol depardieu.

if you DONT LIKE 'dont touch the white woman' then try 'la grande bouffe' which i dont like very much, but other people seem to love it.

seed of man and bye bye monkey are definitely my favorites of his.
