Africa. In the wild expanses, where bushbucks, impalas, zebras, gnus and other creatures graze by the thousands, they are on holiday. German and Austrian hunting tourists drive through the bush, lie in wait, stalk their prey. They shoot, sob with excitement and pose before the animals they have bagged. A vacation movie about killing, a movie about human nature.

Oh, by the way, everyone, the last five seconds of that trailer are not safe for life.

In case you watched it, here's a gif of a kitten and a bird who are friends.

This is a documentary, right? I assume the last 5 sec involves real-life violence. Which I don't have the stomach for.  :(

My bad, guys. Post adjusted. Don't touch the last 5 seconds with a 10 foot pole, JB.

Thirty seconds later, the cat gets bored and it's just a bloodbath.

I don't know...I think it's kind of beautiful?   Should be an interesting watch.

HBO Real Sports recently did a piece about trophy hunting in Africa.  I thought it was excellent.  I know people who have gone on these trips, and I'm fascinated by the way they rationalize their behavior.
