Title: 16:9 --- FCP?

If I shoot the squeezed 16:9 ratio on a GL-1, will FCP unstretch it to a letterboxed image? I'm afraid to shoot something, only to have it look like a squeezed 4:3. I should add this is my first time using either a GL-1 or FCP.

...but you'll need to tell it to when you are importing the image or it will not know.  It's a preference that you just set.
