Something I noticed in BN...

I was reminded of this from the Magnolia Laughs thread.

I was watching Boogie Nights some weeks ago, and I was enjoying it in all it's wonder, and in the first Awards Ceremony (my fav scene), when Dirk wins and gets up and is giving hugs and stuff all around, I was looking at everyone, how great the actors are.  Then I noticed something that made me realize why Philip Seymour Hoffman IS Philip Seymour Hoffman:  Dirk goes around, gets congratulated by Buck (I believe) and next to him sits Scotty, who attempts to give Dirk a Double High-Five, but Dirk doesn't even see him, so Scotty's left like a fool, but keeps clapping.  

Watch it again, I almost died laughing.  What a loser, that Scotty J.

hehe yep you can see since they first meet that the guy is trying to get Dirk's attention but just cant... reminds me of some people I know...

Yeah, it's fucking funny...
but at the same time really sad and heartbreaking.

Stuff like that makes a movie a PTA movie. Heart and emotion...
