Liked this way more than I thought I would. A series of quiet indignities. While the trailer does give a solid taste of what to expect, the skill with which the dynamics play out and the specific tone of the office culture that's captured made it enthralling for me. The film avoids forcing conflict, and instead rides the unnerving feeling in the back of one's mind that as an assistant in this industry your real job is to repeatedly prove your own worthlessness.

P.S. not to temper expectations, but if this is a "thriller" then you've gotta call Jeanne Dielman one, too.
