Sleepless

I'm late coming to this (the recently release 3rd season is apparently its last) but I've watched the pilot and it's pretty good. It's funny, which is always good for a comedy. Also, the pilot plus at least the subsequent episode are directed by David Gordon Green. I just checked - he directed 6 eps total. It's an Amazon Prime exclusive. Trailer here:

He held on. The dolphin and all the rest of its pod turned and swam out to sea, and still he held on. This is it, he thought. Then he remembered that they were air-breathers too. It was going to be all right.

I enjoyed it--in a kind of light, frothy, doesn't-amount-to-much way.  I have zero nostalgia for the 80s, so that aspect was lost on me.   Perfectly pleasant, though.
