i haven't seen it. i wasn't highly likely to you, but still i'm a bit surprised that it's struggling to recoup its $88 million budget. this is its second week and it's currently looking to be fourth at the box office, behind even third-week The Nun

I saw it at the IMAX and, aside from a small handul of minor amusements, I found it quite dull, unfocused and often boring.

I saw it opening Thurs night because a local theater had a 'buy a food item/get a free Predator military hat' deal going. I figured I had to go to the first showing to make sure they didn't sell out. There was a total of 6 people at the showing.

It's a real mess. I don't consider this a spoiler, but if you're super sensitive stop reading - they introduce a dog at one point. During one scene they have a quick cut of the dog appearing to run towards the group - the dog is never seen again. I don't know if this was a result of last minute editing due to the controversy or what, but that was very strange. It could have been easily solved by having the shot being the dog running away scared.
I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away.

god wow, it's like you never know what'll happen in the world of trash during any year. this is one for the books--i think its failure surprised me more than, say, Fantastic Four

I'm not defending the movie or I'm a fan of the relentless many remakes but the movie has raked over 100 million dollars worldwide.

At the same time it's pretty much a flop because of its 80 millon dollars budget and something extra for promotion etc.

i think you're misunderstanding the thread, which isn't attacking the movie so much as celebrating it
