Hi, my name's Leo, a Vis Comm student from England. I've just finished a short film based on a poem by 16th century Spanish mystic St John of the Cross called 'The Dark Night'. The film has a monolithic stark moodiness to it. Hope you enjoy it ! I would be very grateful if you could review it after watching...

It's quite nice.  I, however, prefer Washing Up Liturgy from your site.  Good job, though.

I thought both were nice little pieces. Dark Night had a really nice feel to it. The photography was spot on with the tone and I thought the voice was perfect. Nice work.
What kind of camera do you use?

Thanks for the words of encouragement : )
I used an Olympus D-390 digital camera to shoot the stills for The Dark Night. It´s not v. expensive! I heavily edited the photos in Photoshop afterwards to get that wrapped in darkness effect.

You can see more of my photos, including shots I was going to use The Dark Night but omitted at...

Sweet. I really like that shot of the building.
