The other climbing movie--which I found vastly more interesting and engaging for me than Free Solo.   As astonishing a feat as chronicled in Free Solo, the route Tommy & Kevin took up El Cap in this film was apparently orders of magnitude more difficult than the route Alex took in the Oscar winning doc.   Maybe I was just having an off night, but I turned off Free Solo before he even started his epic climb in the last third of the film.  The Dawn Wall had me emotionally hooked the entire time.   I loved it.

So Alex was orders of magnitude better at finding the ideal route and made it look easy, while these jokers are out there tearing up their hands?

JK, this looks interesting. Also funny that the movies share a co-star.

Only 16 minutes into this movie and can already recommend it.  :yabbse-thumbup:
