How about Mark Wahlberg?  After Boogie Nights, he has made some truly terrible films (except when he works with David O. Russell).

Dustin Hoffman post-Rain Man -- Family Business, Billy Bathgate, Hook, American Buffalo, Outbreak, etc.  However he was good in Wag the Dog and I Heart Huckabees.

wait heres another one.  between hitting it big with Die Hard and his comeback in Pulp Fiction, Bruce Willis made the following films consecutively...

Die Hard 2
Bonfire of the Vanities
Mortal Thoughts
Hudson Hawk
Billy Bathgate
The Last Boyscout
Death Becomes Her
Striking Distance
North
Color of Night

I know this was written about a year and a half ago, but i think Death Becomes Her is good. May be nostalgia, but i like it.

Anyhooo....shit acting streak...Hmm...

I haven't seen all of these, so feel free to correct me if any of them are halfway decent.

Analyse This
Flawless (I Just assumed this is shit as it's Schumacher.)
Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle
Men of Honour
Meet the Parents (Alright, i suppose.)
15 minutes
The Score
Showtime
City By the Sea
Analyse That
Godsend
Shark Tale
Meet the Fockers
Hide and Seek

I never thought about De Niro, but seeing that list makes me realize he hasn't done anything good in a while.  Believe it or not, the only decent film on that list is Flawless.  De Niro gives a good performance, and Phil Seymour Hoffman is great as usual.

Like Donnie Smith's love, I don't know where to put this.  Feel free to move it as needed.  I was revisiting the whole James Frey controversy after having read a Time article about Jonathan Franzen, and I came across this: HBO Working on a Show About Porn Business
