Wow.  Holy shit, I just have to recommend the hell out of this thing.  I'm watching/listening to the commentary as I write this.  The director is fucking hilarious, sounds like a great guy.  There's also a mention of PTA and his divine greatness (and also Wes Anderson) in the special features.

Anyways, terrific movie.  Today is the first time I ever saw it.  It's really great.  Best picture I've seen in a long time.

Also, this commentary is way better than the last commentary I sat through, the director/crew track on the Underworld DVD.  It's nice to hear a director talk more about the movie and other interesting shit than whine about "how little money" they had.  Fuck that Underworld guy.  Fuck him in the fucking ass.

I bought the VHS copy since the DVD was ridiculously over-priced. At the time I bough it the VHS was $9.99, and the DVD was $37.99. But now, the DVD price has dropped to $13.99!!! So I might as well get the DVD as well. Wouldn't be the first time...
