Bigass update to the banners just now.

I'd like to request two things...

1: Make your banners jpegs.

and

2: If you're doing a screen cap, make sure that it's BRIGHT enough to tell what it is. A large number of grabs lately have been so dark (probably grabbed from the dvd onscreen) that you can't even tell what they are.

Gracias.

Disco Stu

I want to see one of the kid in The Hudsucker Proxy playing with the hullahoop on the sidewalk.
I used to do drugs.  I still do but I used to too!

"There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave.
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high - water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back." - Hunter S. Thompson.

Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

Pawbloe, your caps are the best.

Who's that hot blonde lying naked on the beach, showing us her ass?? That's great.
Those who say that the totalitarian state of the Soviet Union was not "real" Marxism also cannot admit that one simple feature of Marxism makes totalitarianism necessary:  the rejection of civil society. Since civil society is the sphere of private activity, its abolition and replacement by political society means that nothing private remains. That is already the essence of totalitarianism; and the moralistic practice of the trendy Left, which regards everything as political and sometimes reveals its hostility to free speech, does nothing to contradict this implication.

When those who hated capital and consumption (and Jews) in the 20th century murdered some hundred million people, and the poster children for the struggle against international capitalism and America are now fanatical Islamic terrorists, this puts recent enthusiasts in an awkward position. Most of them are too dense and shameless to appreciate it, and far too many are taken in by the moralistic and paternalistic rhetoric of the Left.

Pwaybloe

Hey, thanks.

That blonde is Brigitte Bardot from "And God Created Woman."

SoNowThen

I thought it might be, seeing as how Godard had her pull that same pose billions of times in Contempt.

She suits that angle. Though I think Bardot probably suits any and all angles...

Edit [cabin fever banner removed]

After reading the comments below i quite agree. The more i look at it the more unnerving i find it. people logging on for the first time may not appreciate it popping up. i have friends who wont watch gremlins as its too scary and there's too much gore!
