it's like the foot stomping cousin of the early Stones.

i really dig that album, but that poor soul is one of the ugliest human beings i've ever seen.

If you ever wondered what a There Will Be Blood/Shining soundtrack mash-up would sound like, here's your chance.

Death Grips - The Money Store.

If you can withstand it, this shit stays with you. An incredible album.

Fuck, why didn't anyone tell me about this record earlier in my life.

I got that album on vinyl for $1. A store around here has a $1 pile and I guess it was there because it had the wrong insert and the cover had some water damage. The vinyl itself was in very good condition. I haven't listened in a while, but I liked it. Need to get it on CD for easier access.

Surprised no one has mentioned Liars - Wixiw since the spelling makes me think of this place.

Unless you're 70 years old this album wasn't available on cd until 2003.

Were you able to download them?
I was going to try the Great Outdoors link, but it goes to a Warning page.

I hadn't gotten that far yet, I'm sure it's old and since you know, all those pirating sites were shut down in the last year or so, i'm sure a lot of the links are dead.

But that's illegal, so I wouldn't know anything about it.

While it's a lot like what you'd imagine Spoon + Handsome Furs would sound like, it fits together just right.
Really like this album even though the song order doesn't flow that well for me.

A lot of people prefer WHITE BLOOD CELLS or ELEPHANT.... But I think this album is their best. What an amazing debut. Been listening to it non-stop for the past 2 weeks...

Favorite tracks:

"Do"

"Stop breaking down" (Million times better than the rolling stones version)

"One more cup of coffee" (Can't decide if it's better than Bob Dylan's version, but is up there)

"Screwdriver" (If I ever make a major feature, this song will be in the trailer!.... Don't steal it from me  :yabbse-grin:)

Fuck this place..... I got a script to write.
